During our lives we all experience some form of bullying whether that's grade school or social media, we try to endure it. But, sometimes bullying can really affect our mental health and create bad outcomes. Bullying, in general, has been addressed over the last couple decades and it has decreased in schools, but not over social media. There is still a lot of bullying that occurs online and something else that has increased is Workplace Bullying. Workplace Bullying is when coworkers mistreat their peers or people in positions of power, abuse their power for unethical and unfair mistreatment.

As a society don't talk about Workplace Bullying because "that is always how it's been." You have to endure abuse and mistreatment in order to climb the ladder and find success. Now, I love the idea of climbing the ladder and working hard to earn my promotions, but not under high levels of stress and mistreatment that take my life from me. Unless, that is something you're interested in, then more power to you or less power for that matter. Either way these are examples of workplace bullying and InnerActive has collected five article that will explain Workplace Bullying, ways to cope, and how remote has slowly become a bullying culture. Hope you find something that interests you and can maybe give some tips dealing with Workplace Bullying.

1. The first resource is a link to the website wokrplacebullying.org and created by the Workplace Bullying Institute. This is great for general knowledge and understanding of how workplace bullying shows itself. The link also gives great statistics with Workplace Bullying and how many people are affected and the percentage of employees that deal with workplace bullying. https://workplacebullying.org/

2. The second resource is an article written by "verywellmind" titled "The Effects of Workplace Bullying". This article is great in noticing when Workplace Bullying is occurring and ways in which it can damage your employees and worklife balance. When someone is feeling down at work because of a "bad culture" this article really elaborates what might be happening. Check out this article with great information and facts on how we are affected by Workplace Bullying. https://www.verywellmind.com/what-are-the-effects-of-workplace-bullying-460628

3. The third resource is an article written by "The Muse" titled "Don't Let Workplace Bullies Win-Here's How To Spot Them and Stop Them". I really appreciate this article because it gives effective tools in regards to noticing workplace bullying and trying to approach it head on. It is displayed as a guide or even a how to deal with workplace bullying. As well, the article is written very factually and with a bit of humor. I highly recommend this article for dealing with Workplace Bullies. https://www.themuse.com/advice/how-to-deal-with-workplace-bullies

4. The fourth resource is an article written by BBC titled "How Workplace Bullying Went Remote". As recent companies have moved into more of a virtual world, employees get to enjoy the perks of working remote. But, this article really breaks down how workplace bullying has affected the remote working culture. Discussing how online bullying has moved into remote work. Which, seems like it would be hard to do, but the culture's of these businesses that mistreat their employees, also mistreat their employees virtually. It is a very interesting article and as we move closer to more and more remote work, this will become a more common occurrence.

5. The fifth resource is a PDF titled "20 Subtle Signs of Workplace Bullying". It separates all twenty signs of Workplace Bullying into three individual columns. The first column is Subtle Signs, the second column is Not-So-Subtle-Signs and the third column is from a separate article from the Street using that article signs of Workplace Bullying. Overall, it's not the most interesting read, but does outline very specifically the differences between subtle and not subtle signs of Workplace Bullying.

Hopefully one of these articles speaks to you and helps it whatever way possible. Have a great day!
