There has been an influx of information and articles in regards to the relationship between Anxiety and Sleep over the past decade. If you struggle with getting a good night's rest and also struggle with anxiety or depression, these could be related. So, how can we manage these bad night's of sleep? InnerActive has compiled five unique articles that discuss how anxiety and sleep are correlated. As well, ways to manage your sleep and how to get a better, more fulfilling night's rest.

An article from "Sleep Foundation" called "Anxiety and Sleep" written by Eric Suni and medically reviewed by Alex Dimitriu, discusses the relationship between someone's mental health and the amount of sleep they get. During the article, it lists different types of anxiety people deal with and the amount of people who work with it. Then discussing how anxiety and sleep are correlated and ways to calm anxiety and get better sleep. It's very informational and is an easier read.

2. For the second article, "PSYCOM" wrote an article "Anxiety and Sleep: 6 Tips For Improving Sleep Problems and Managing Your Anxiety" written by Kathleen Smith, PhD, LPC. This article gives the reader six tips to increasing sleep and dealing with anxiety. It's an easier read, has a nice aesthetic and is very informational.

3. The third resource is a short, eight question quiz that asks specifically about sleep and gives you a "sleep score". The "sleep score" is then able to determine if you are truly getting good sleep and then gives recommendations and tips on ways to improve your sleep. An easy eight question quiz by Sleepio.

4. The fourth article is from "sleep.com" called "Sleep Music to Reduce Anxiety and Promotes Sleep" written by Margarita Tartakovsky. This article discusses how music can be very impactful towards falling asleep and gives a list of songs that help with becoming more relaxed. It is an easy read that includes videos suggested by the article's writer. It's a different technique than the other resources prior, but still has been proven to be impactful towards restfulness.

5. The fifth and final article is from "healthline" called "What Is the Link Between Insomnia and Anxiety?" written by Scott Frothingham and medically reviewed by Timothy J. Legg. This article was laid out very nicely and was a pleasant read that talks about what insomnia does and gives suggestions on how to sleep more peacefully. It also discusses the relationship that having insomnia can be caused from anxiety. Overall, a quick read where it is laying out information in an easier way to understand.
